About New Zealand Police Managers’ Guild Trust
Established in 1997 as a charitable trust, the Police Managers’ Guild Trust exists to provide practical, easy-to-understand crime prevention education that helps individuals, families and businesses reduce risk and stay safe. Their work is grounded in real-world experience and delivered through accessible digital platforms, including their website, social media channels and newsletters.
Impact & Community
Every day of the week, the Trust publishes educational resources covering critical topics such as crime prevention, child safety, domestic and substance abuse, better parenting and community wellbeing. These resources are actively used by more than 3,000 New Zealanders every week, demonstrating both the reach and importance of their work.
What makes the Trust’s impact even more significant is its commitment to reinvesting back into the community. To date, more than $3.5 million has been returned to New Zealand community organisations that either work to prevent crime or provide support to victims. This impact is made possible through the backing of over 20,000 local businesses, whose sponsorship and advertising help fund the production, distribution and ongoing development of these vital education resources.
