AdvanceRetail wins Paper Plus award

Paper Plus Group is New Zealand’s largest book and stationery retailer with over 115 stores nationwide and has remained an iconic retail brand within the NZ market since first starting in 1983.  It operates as a co-operative franchise group, owned by the members with a central support office.  In 2003 Paper Plus selected AdvanceRetail to provide the in-store and support office retail solution software to manage all aspects of retail operations including inventory, debtors, promotions and reporting.  Since then AdvanceRetail and Paper Plus have worked closely to maximise the benefits of the AdvanceRetail solution across all of the Paper Plus stores.

Every year Paper Plus run a multi-day trade show and conference and part of that trade show includes an awards ceremony for trade suppliers.  This year Paper Plus added a new award category for ‘Supplier of the Year: Group Service Partnership’.  This award recognises exceptional performance from a supplier in the provision of in store solutions and technology.  The award is voted on by all of the Paper Plus stores.  AdvanceRetail Technology was voted as the winner of the award which was presented at a gala awards night event.  “AdvanceRetail Technology is very proud and honoured to be the recipient of this inaugural award especially in light of the fact that all the members of the group voted for the winner, and we look forward to many more years working closely with Paper Plus to deliver first class solutions that enable them to be first class retailers to their customers” said Andy Bell, Chief Technology Officer for AdvanceRetail upon receiving the award.
